Directions to Base Camp:
#1 Internet option:
If you are familiar with Google Maps then type this road in the search bar.
It will not go work if you forget the capitals or dash. This will pin point the road that base camp is on. You can navigate from there based on your location.
#2 From Reno:
From I-80 & US 395 North it is 142 miles to the road to base camp. (approx. 2.5hrs)
Take 395 North thru Susanville. approx. 80 miles
(When you go thru Susanville it turns to Hwy36)
10 miles out of Susanville will be a right turn for “Redding/Mt.Shasta” Hwy 44.
Follow Hwy 44 to Hwy 89. (approx. 46 miles) Turn left at this Junction.
Go West on Hwy 44/89 for 5 miles and just after the “Vista” turn left onto NF-32N12. (Twin Bridges) Signs will be posted for the ride. Follow dirt road about a mile into base camp.
#3 From Redding:
I-5 (north or south depending on which way you are coming from)
Take the 678A exit to Hwy 44 ( Hilltop Dr./ Lassen Park.)
Follow Hwy 44 thru Shingletown to NF-32N12 (53 miles). This is the road to base camp. Signs will be posted and follow dirt road to base camp.
